Bantwal: Blood donation camp held at Carmel College Modankap

Bantwal, Jan 8: The Youth Red Cross, NSS unit of Carmel College, in collaboration with Lions club Bantwal and KMC Hospital Mangaluru organized a one-day blood donation camp at the college auditorium.

The programme was inaugurated by Ln Ronald Gomes, MJF Lions Club district governor.

Dr Jagrath, department of Pathology, KMC Hospital Mangaluru explained the importance of blood donation.



College principal, Dr Sr Latha AC, Ln Anitha Gomes, Ln Srinivas Poojary, Ln Radhakrishna Bantwal, Ln Devika Damodar, YRC officer Vinitha Veigas, NSS officer Madhura were present on the dais.

Dr Sr Latha AC welcomed the gathering, Lions Club president, Ln Srinivas Poojary proposed the vote of thanks, NSS secretary Pooja compered the programme.

Student volunteers, lecturers, the general public and well-wishers donated blood.
