White Doves presents mobile act on life of St Mark at Karkala

Udupi, Nov 30: The first show of NGO White Doves’ mobile act was held at Gandhi Maidan, Karkala on Friday, November 29. The '2019-Year-Old Fact in a Mobile Act', presented the life of St Mark with a song ‘Nanu Ninnavane’.

Fr Joswey Fernandes, parish priest, Christ the King Church, Fr Roshan Thomas and others were present on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, Fr Roshan Thomas said, "Today it is our pleasure to watch this Christmas message here in Karkala. I specially thank White Doves organization for this programme. A large number of people have gathered here today to witness the Christmas message.”

More than 125 artistes through song and act, delivered the Christmas message and spread over the joy of the festive season.

The act was written by Bannu Fernandes and directed by Corrine Rasquinha, founder, White Doves. This is the 25th year of performances by the well-known NGO.

More than 1,500 people witnessed the grand event.

Santa Claus and Christmas carols entertained the gathering.

    White doves, are a symbol of peace..... they are renowned, for their social outreach programs, year after year, in Dakshin Kannada district... I hope and pray, that they extend their noble services, in Mumbai and other Metro cities, in Maharashtra........
