Brahmavar: Illegal slaughter of cattle for beef - Two held

Brahmavar, Nov 30: In an incident which happened at Bhattanakudru in Balekudru village on Thursday November 28, the police raided a spot where cattle were illegally slaughtered and an attempt to prepare beef was being made. Two persons were arrested on the spot.

Reginald Louis from Balekudru and Haluvalli Pradeep from Koteshwar were arrested. The cattle were slaughtered in a shed belonging to Reginald. The raid was conducted by a police team led by Kota police sub-inspector Nityananda Gowda.

A case stands registered against the duo in Kota police station. Both were later released on bail.
