Bengaluru, Nov 21: Congress legislative party leader and former chief minister Siddaramaiah has blamed disqualified MLA MTB Nagaraj for funding chief minister B S Yediyurappa for Operation Lotus. 

Rubbishing Nagaraj’s allegations that he has borrowed money, Siddaramaiah said that the money was borrowed by Congress leader Krishna Byre Gowda, who has returned the same. 

He also added that Nagaraj is issuing such statements only because he is upset.

 

Nagaraj is among India’s richest politicians with a declared net worth of more than 1,220 crore. When it was pointed out that his net worth increased by over Rs 180 crore in 18 months, Nagaraj retaliated by saying that he has given money to former railway minister KH Muniyappa, former CM Siddaramaiah, and other Congress leaders who have not paid him back.

    Actually MTB Nagaraj is just saying the opposite! He claims arrogant & scheming Siddu had taken 500 Crores loan during last elections, in which CONgress lost badly, became 78 from 123 seats. This money nor the interest is still owed by Siddu to MTB and now Siddu sings a different tune to deflect topic.
