Mandya: Disqualified MLA claims Yediyurappa gave him Rs 1,000 crore for his support

Daijiworld Media Network - Mandya (SHP)

Mandya, Nov 6: One of the disqualified Karnataka MLAs Narayana Gowda on Tuesday, November 5 claimed that he was given Rs 1,000 crore by chief minister B S Yediyurappa for undertaking development works in his Krishnarajpet constituency.

"Somebody came to me and took me to BS Yediyurappa's residence at 5 am. When we entered his home, Yediyurappa was in the middle of a prayer. Once I entered, he asked me to sit and asked me to support him so that he could become the chief minister again," Gowda said.

Narayana Gowda

Reportedly, Gowda claimed that he had requested for Rs 700 crore for the development of the Krishnarajpet constituency. He was then promised Rs 300 crore more by BS Yediyurappa if Gowda would render his support to him. This request was made right after Yediyurappa claimed that he had 'nothing to do with the disqualified MLAs’, he said.

Further, Gowda also asserted that a former JDS-MLA in Mandya agreed to have supported the Yediyurappa government for the funds to develop his constituency.

Why is he stating it now ? Is it because the SC refused to consider the Video because the judgement is sealed and yet to be announced. In the interest of Justice such statements and videos should be considered by the Hon'ble Court.

Hello... 1,000 Crores ? What authority does Yeddiyurappa have to give so much money ? Where is it coming from ? His own bank account ?

Even if we agree to your assertion that the money was given for development ? Why this MLA alone ? He must have offered to remaining 14 MLAs too ? Making the sum 15,000 Crores ? Imagine where Karnataka would have reached, had a sum of 15,000 Crores are utilized to develop the state ?

Say something man, but say things that are believable. Not hypothesis.

Similarly, if it was your money, you would not have so casually said that it will be used for development.

No, the money is not mine so I'm not going to court. However, it isn't Yeddy's too - you see ? Yet, he gave it so that he will be the CM. What happened to the promise of Modi to run corruption-less governance ? Isn't Yeddy his party representative ? There are raids on Congress ex-ministers (I support - no complains) but why not on Yeddy ? Hmmm ???

While you are busy fighting if its your money or Yeddi's money, what you people did not realize is it is all our money. This money was taken from us through taxes. Income tax, Road tax, Property tax, Property registration tax, airport development tax, vehicle tax, inheritance tax, Value added tax. tax tax tax. It is used by these idiots to secure a chair and secure their own and their families future, while we are busy chanting, modi modi or Kai kai jai.

For petty pothole repairs the authorities are fighting 'national highway/state highway' to get funds, how come the CM throws 1,000/- at a person just like that ? Does it require sanction/approval, or no ? If it's that simple, why our roads are so pathetic that so many people die on them ? Couldn't the local MP/MLA do it from the funds PM/CM gives him ?

"claimed that he was given Rs 1,000 crore by chief minister B S Yediyurappa"

Well then, where is the money ? You may not have undertaken the works so that you could show where/how you spent it because you were disqualified. Aren't the IT Dept people reading the news ? No raids ? Are they mute/deaf/blind when it comes to matters pertaining to BJP ?

Whatever the case may be, Rs. 2,000/- currency notes have made it easy to collect the amount, no matter how many thousands of crores. Thank you Modiji....
