Mangaluru: ‘Carmel Fusia 2K19’ held at Carmel English Medium School, Kotekar

Mangaluru, Nov 2: ‘Carmel Fusia 2K19’, an exhibition was organized at Carmel English Medium School, Kotekar on October 31.

The event commenced by invoking God’s blessings on the gathering through a prayer song after which vice principal Sr Lavi Shanthi A C welcomed the gathering. The exhibition was inaugurated by the chief guest Dr Farita Veigas, principal of St. Aloysious Institute of Education, Mangaluru, accompanied Sr Archana A C, the joint secretary of the institution, Sr Jenifer Moras the principal of the school, Sr Carmel A C, the headmistress of Stella Maris Higher Primary School and Stany Rodrigues, the vice president of PTA executive committee.



Dr Farita Veigas congratulated the teachers, students and parents for their innovative and creative minds which were portrayed through their exhibits on art, science and sculpture. She motivated the students to take active part in such activities in school to give expression to their creative thoughts and ideas.

The visit of U T Khader, the former Health minister of Karnataka was a boost to all gathered. He appreciated the school for giving an opportunity for the students of neighboring schools who enthusiastically visited the exhibition to enhance their knowledge.

The exhibition was a feast to the eyes of the visitors who were impressed with scientific skills, innovative ideas and artistry and appreciated the effort behind the exhibits. Students also learnt the value of research work, organizational skills and team work while putting up such an event in a grand scale with the guidance of their teachers and parents.
