Instead of commenting merits and de-merits of this case, let us know how many of you would like to see your daughters or sisters involved in such case either with a same community man or a man from different community just because they are 18+ ??

Shame of these people! A country like Saudi Arabia is moving forward and are now letting the visitors who are unmarried couples to stay together in hotel. On the other hand, India, the so called democratic country is going backward. Shame of the government too who claim that the country is growing faster.

Most probably, the hotel management must have given the clue to certain organization.
They were acquainted through social media and landed in the lodge to complete marriage
preparation in advance. ! Now Police would complete what is left.

Why the couple taken to custody? They are above 18 and hence on what grounds police took them to custody? Actually the police should have taken BD activists to the custody for intruding the privacy of the couple and attacking them. What sort of police do we have? These are the very police about whom 'Captain' spoke in a sting operation a few years ago I believe. Instead of arresting/detaining law-breakers, police have taken couple to the custody? Under what case and Sections have they been kept under custody? A above-18 couple staying in lodge is offense or attacking this by forcibly opening their door is offense? Have some sense Coastal police.

I fail to understand the reason for the police to take the couple into custody. As far as I know, it is not a crime for two adults to share a lodge room as long as they are above the age of 18. Further, it is also not a crime to have consensual sex inside the room as long as they don't disturb the others. It hardly matters which community they belong to or which region they come from.

The walls of suspicion, distrust, hate, has overwhelmed and worsened, relationships, between certain religious ideologies.... The wounds, inflicted in 1947, were never healed, rather continued to fester, grow, into Gangrene !!!!!! In Mumbai, the melting pot, of cultures, the biggest bustling metropolis, there is a clear, distinct demarcation in every aspect of life.... any transgressions are severely condemned !!!! South India, notably Karnataka n Kerala , there is severe state of crisis, between communities.... it is a virtual tinder bos ready to explode !!!!!!!!
