Just last week my kids had their Sports day there & it was seriously lacking in basic amenities... Washrooms especially at the one n only stadium in Kudla are in such a miserable state that children rather control themselves n suffer than use them. It's not enough to just develop the Stadium....Regular Maintenance is of utmost importance. Especially for washrooms n greenrooms. Swach bharaty seems relegated to just roads n outward appearances... Where actual Swachhta is required Kudla fails miserably... N it's sad n unfair to make school n college kids go through this.

The need of the hour is proper roads in Mangalore. Stadiums are a luxury when we don't even have motorable roads. It very much looks like we Mangaloreans are very comfortable with the pothole filled roads and never protest or complain.

Dear MLA sir, thank you for sanctioning this amount. You should give first priority to build good and clean toilets and green rooms for students and adults who come there for their sports meet, practices etc. It is so dirty now, specially the toilets and entrance of the stadium, not maintained at all. Let the money be used rightly for the improvement of the stadium and not to fill the pockets of politicians and officials.

    Good news ok.
But what is 3.5 CR for developing stadium. Half will go into the pockets of bureaucrats and administrators and politicians. What remains probably can only help in repairing the existing structures. Its a stadium and not a small hall or playground.
