Muscat Shree Ganesh Festival Committee to commemorate 35th year on Sep 20

Muscat, Sep 17: The Ganesh Festival committee of Muscat, very popular among the devotees for upholding the traditions, celebrated Shree Ganesh Festival for the 35th year in a row. The three days of Shree Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations were held from September 2 to 4 at Muscat Shiva temple hall for the benefit of the devotees residing in Sultanate of Oman.

To commemorate the 35th anniversary of celebrations the festival committee has planned an event on September 20 at Shree Krishna Temple hall with a dance ballet performance by renowned Bharatanatya Guru Vidushi Geeta Saralaya of ‘Nrutya Bharati’troupe of Mangaluru, ably supported by Vidhushi Rashmi Chidananda. The troupe will be assisted by the talented local artistes of Muscat in the two ballets ‘Ekadanta’ and the ‘Krishnantaranga’.

The jewel in the crown performance will be by accomplished multi-talented artiste Pushkal Kumar Tonse who will be performing the Harikathamrutha ‘Ganesha Mahime-Chautiya Chandra’ to make the event truly devotional.
