Udupi: Manipal ArogyaSuraksha Cards distributed to 3,100 beneficiaries

Udupi, Sep 15: Manipal Arogya Suraksha Cards were distributed to 3,100 beneficiaries at a function organized by the Udupi district Yuva Brahmana Parishat in association with Manipal University, Saturday, Sept1 4 held at Srisabha Bhavan, car street.

Sri Vidyasagar Theertha Swamiji in his blessings address, "There is no confidence to our future life, burt we have to take care of health. According to epic, Brahmana should be collect fewer assets. Our ancestors have put their hard work to gain knowledge not money. They have given priority to materialistic wealth. They used to encouraging for education. Wealth makes us lazy." Quoting a old slogan he said, "Now wealth is lost nothing lost, when character is lost nothing is lost. Today we are living in such atmosphere."

"Let us give priority to education, character and behavior. Today our health is getting spoil, because or life style and food habits. Let’s use our organs properly in daily activities. Today everything became mechanized. We should use science and technology for necessary not for luxury," Swamiji said.

Nandalike Vittal Bhat said, "Everything was made possible by grace of God and blessings of teachers. Today the time has changed. If we have money to spend, we will get good health. A sound body keeps good health."

After receiving the honour, Ramya said, "Do not let down yourself in any difficult situation. Gold will always there with us. Just focus on study, dedicate yourself and determinationation is very important in one’s life. Then you will achieve your target."

Dr Sharat K Rao, dean, KMC also spoke on the occasion.

The Yuva Brahmana Sangha felicitated the achievers and serving in different fields, they were Nandalike Vittal Bhat, religious field, G Subrahmanya Bhat, vastu expert, Yajnanarayan Bhat Pernankila, Chef, B Ajith Kumar, accountant and Prof Ramya K Aithal, education field.

High scored students in PUC were received scholarship on the occasion.

Vishnuprasad, president of the sangha delivered keynote address and extended welcome to all gathered.

Praveen Upadhya, general secretary, Kumaraswamy Udupa, treasurer, Chaithanya M B, correspondent for Arogya Card were present.
