Mangaluru: Compound wall collapses on house - Two children die

Mangaluru, Sep 8: Two small children died when the compound wall collapsed on a house on Sunday, September 8 at Shivanagara in Padil. 

Varshini (7) and Vedanth (8) are the deceased children. Both were studying in a school at Capitanio. 

The incident took place at the rented house owned by Mohini Jaya Shetty. Both the children were studying in their room when the incident happened. The 20-feet wall, surrounding the house, fell on the house and as a result, the children died. 



The rented house and owner’s house are situated nearby. The parents of the children were at the owner’s house when the incident happened.

    How can a house in such a dilapidated state is given on rent ?

    Charge the owners with murder of the kids !

    Collapsed sand may bevause of long time rain , no proper facilities of drainage etc... Charge should be on muncipality officer who granted to build houses on high areas without having proper water drainages, cause damage to low lying old houses... "Money power cant adjust natures nature."
