It is indeed wonderful to see that the feast of Nativity of Bambina Mary is observed with such devotion. During my Younger days I used to join in the offering of flowers in honor of Our Lady.

I recall with nostalgia the hymn SAKKAD SANGATHA MELYA - SAKKAD LAGGI SEREA.

My congrats and good wishes to Msgr Maxim Noronha who offered Mass at Rosario Cathedral and Fr J B Crasta, Fr Rocky Fernandes, and Fr Flavian Lobo were present.

I offer my greetings to the Rev. Fathers and others from distant America.

Feast of Dedication of Basilica of St. Mary Major - Blessed Mother's True Birthday

    (Church celebrates on September 8)

    Message to Maureen.

The Blessed Virgin Mary says: "Praise be to Jesus."

"Dear children, thank you for sharing My Birthday with Me today. It is one year, closer, to the purification of the world - one year, closer, to the Victory of My Immaculate Heart. One year, far distant, since My warnings at Fatima.* Your prayers over the last year, have postponed wars, changed weather patterns, and overcome tragedies in the making. While you see much that needs to change, I see progress. So, I tell you, continue to love Me and to pray, pray, pray."

    * Apparitions to Lucia Santos and her cousins, Jacinta and Francisco Marto, from May 13, 1917 to October 13, 1917, in Fatima, Portugal.

    Prayers to Mother Mary
We pray to Mother Mary and the saints to intercede for us. In fact the 2nd part of the Hail Mary is
“Pray for us now and at the hour of our death” is a clear indication that rosary is an intercessory prayer. Prayer for the intercession of Mother Mary is important for the following reasons.

    a) There is time for everything but Mother Mary can make it happen before time.
It is important to realize that when Mother Mary approached Jesus when the wine ran out
and Jesus said to her “Why do you ask me .My time has not come as yet.(Jn 2:4) But Mother Mary asked the servants to do as Jesus says and thereafter Jesus turned water into wine. Jesus knew that he is bound by the commands he gave to us I.e. Honor thy Father and mother”. There are no separate laws for God and for us. God is bound by the same law He gives us. Only variation is in “ Thou shall not kill”. We cannot kill because we cannot give life back. But God can and will life back to the wicked people who died on account of Him on Judgement day.
Rosary is the most effective intercessory prayer to Mother Mary.
    b) Every Christian knows that Mother Mary was the source of strength to the frightened
apostles after the death and resurrection of Jesus( Acts 1:12 onwards).Mother Mary’s intercession helps to receive the Holy Spirit before time.
    c) Genesis 3:15 and Rev chapter 12,Jn 19:26-27 make it very clear the woman mentioned in Gen 3:15 Is none other than Mother Mary .

Mother Mary on 'Hail Mary' part1

    Message to Valeria Copponi.

    MARCH 20, 2019

    Mary, Your Mother

Dear children, peace be with you. I bring you the word of the Son of God and pray so that each of you return to the Father. I seek you out to clarify a bit the words of simple prayer.

When you pray the Hail Mary, seek to meditate well on the words, “Now and at the hour of our death.” My children, so many of my children who pray these words while in sin, I tell you that they are praying precisely for that “moment of death.”

You know well that when one offends God with mortal sin, one is “dead” even to the forgiveness of the Father. There is, then, the other death, that which is corporeal and there, certainly, is the last moment to ask the most important help of your life.

I pray always, incessantly for my beloved children, above all for those who during their lives have struggled to ask my help.

Happy Nativity Feast to all of you. Also, best wishes to our Bishop, who celebrated the first nativity feast mass after assuming office.

Today, church is honouring the girl child and celebrating girl child day. Girl child is the greatest gift from God. From our grandmothers to grand daughters, we have been shown by them, their love by sharing and caring us.

Today, the girl to boy ration is diminishing day by day in India. Even outside India, including Europe, America and Canada the girl child is aborted, but only by Indians and persons of Indian origin.

Let not the womb of a mother, be the tomb for a girl child.
