Moodbidri: Lady gram panchayat member commits suicide

Daijiworld Media Network - Moodbidri (SP)

Moodbidri, Sep 4: Sunanda, member of Daregudde gram panchayat and a BJP activist, ended her life by jumping into a well late night on Tuesday September 3.

Sunanda was the wife of Kantappa Poojary from Daregudde. On Tuesday night, her family members had left to watch movie in the town. Sunanda had expressed her disinterestedness to accompany them.

When the family members returned after watching the movie, they could not find Sunanda at home. On a detailed search, they found her body inside a well near the family's home.

Sunanda has left behind four sons and four daughters. Six among her children are married. The family members were a close-knit family and there did not appear to be any strong reasons for the lady to take this extreme step. The police are investigating.

Sad,Here it is very suspect.Sunanda showed disinterest to go to movie.Of course and is also not all elderly people want to go to movie.Intersting is as soon as they came back and started to search for her and found in well.Does everyone goes to look into well when person is missing?Quite possible she was put into well before going to movie?Hears bit horrible but possibility is there. Please findout if any marks were there on her body?heartfelt sympathy to her family.First grill her relatives if any problems were there and in a rage ,she was caught and thrown into hill?Disinterst to go to movie was only a simple excuse?Thourough investigation should be made.Nowadays for money, assets, some people dont hesitate to go a nasty ways.May her soul rest in peace.

Sunanda had expressed her disinterestedness to accompany them.

i hope CoJa gobernment was giving free movie ticket to you and forcing ur kids to take you with them....

    Om Shanthi Sunanda,
Its true that now a days despite having 8 kids also parents feel that they dnt have kids, every one forget that one day we will be parents.

Also every daughter in law should think that, one day she will become mother in law.

i personally feel that never expect anything from kids specially from son.

Every mother want to her son in law should listen her mother and her son should listen her only.

Frankly speaking at the end men will suffer.... 10 men can live in small room with out fight but 2 girls cant live in one home peacefully..........

Toady Nitin Gadkari is the man who has all the ability and resources to become PM of the country. This poor lady was a member of gram panchayat. How come you compare her or talk about Gadkari here?
