Mangaluru: Solfa Music Week conducted at Lourdes Central School

Mangaluru, Sep 3: "Music is a universal language loved by all. Students should learn music which gives charm and gaiety to life," said Fr Robert D’Souza, Principal, Lourdes Central School.

He inaugurated the Solfa Music Week by playing the drums.

Solfa Music Week was celebrated at Lourdes Central School from August 26 to 31 with great enthusiasm. During the morning assembly students from higher primary, high school and higher secondary participated in the music week. They played various musical instruments and sang western and eastern songs as part of the celebration

The finale was held on August 31 with a variety of songs. Students enjoyed the musical week which brought out the hidden talents of the students.

The musical week was a platform to the talented student’s musicians and singes to bring out their talents.
