New Delhi, Aug 19 (IANS): Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel and the party's state in-charge P.L. Punia on Monday met Congress interim President Sonia Gandhi here and discussed issues related to the state.
According to party leaders, Baghel, Punia and Chhattisgarh state Congress President Mohan Makram met Gandhi for over 45 minutes.
Baghel later told reporters: "The meeting with Soniaji was nice. She has given us the task of working for the people of the state."
Punia described the meeting as a courtesy call.
