Udupi, Aug 14: “Six people of twin districts of Udupi and Mangaluru have won awards in Miss, Mr and Mrs India Top Model 2019 pageant held in Hyderabad recently,” said Lanie Suvarna, fashion choreographer.

Giving the details about the winners, Poornima Rao, Mrs India top model 2019 runner-up said, “We are proud to announce that six people from Udupi and Mangaluru area have won prizes. The pageant was held on August 4 at the Raddison Hotel in Hyderabad. The competition was organized by City Highlife magazine. Dr Varun Deep G, Spoorthy Shetty, Sudhiksha Kiran, Poornima Rao M, Damodar Hegde and Laura Susan have won awards in various categories.”

Dr Varun Deep G, Mr India Top Model 2019 winner, Spoorthy Shetty, Ms India Top Model 2019 winner, Sudhiksha Kiran, Mrs India Top Model 2019 winner, Poornima Rao M, Mrs India Top Model 2019 runner-up, Damodar Hegde, Mr India Top Model 2019 runner-up and Laura Susan, Miss India Top Model 2019 runner-up, are the awardees of this pageant, who hail from Udupi and Mangaluru.

Dr Varun Deep G, Damodar Hegde and Sudhiksha Kiran hail from the district of Dakshina Kannada, while Poornima Rao M, Spoorthi Shetty and Laura Susan are natives of Udupi district.

All the awardees are into professional modelling from many years. They have featured in many fashion magazines and have also won many titles and sub-titles in various pageants.
