Letter threatening to blow up Amit Shah received by BJP MLA Leena Jain

Bhopal, Jul 2: Leena Jain, BJP MLA from Ganj Basoda, approached the town police station on account of receiving a threat. On Monday, she claimed to receive a letter which targeted her and the Union Home Minister, Amit Shah.

The letter was submitted by the Personal Assistant of Leela Jain, to the Town Inspector, Prakash Sharma. In the letter, threat was towards blowing up of the Ganj Basoda railway station, Rajiv Gandhi hospital, the police station, the MLA and the Union Home Minister.

“We have informed the senior officials and security has been tightened in the area. Bomb disposal squad has also been called,” said Town Inspector, Prakash Sharma, Ganj Basoda.

The letter was sent via post to MLA's office and reached her on a Monday at 2.30 pm. Considering the gravity of the situation great vigilance is being followed and officials are on alert.
