Udupi, Jun 23: Fire erupted at Jayadeva Motors showroom premises at Indrali on the night of Sunday, June 23. But as the fire brigade arrived on time, major mishap was averted.
A petrol pump is situated very near to the place where fire broke out. If the fire was not extinguished within some minutes, it could have spread to the petrol pump where a large quantity of fuel is stored.
As per reports, the situation is under control.
