Mangaluru, Jun 11: With the onset of monsoon in the catchment areas of River Netravati, water level in Thumbay dam on which the city is dependent for drinking water needs, has shown a slight improvement.

As per the information provided by the city corporation here, the water level in the dam rose by about six cm on Monday, June 10. The water level in the dam stood at 2.1 metres on Monday morning.
