Mangaluru: Police arrest man for murder in park at State Bank

Mangaluru, May 13: A man stands arrested for the murder of Sharath (34) from Ballalbagh. The murder had taken place in a park at State Bank on May 7 and was reported the next day.

Lingappa (38) is the arrested person. He is a resident of Kateel.

Sharath was found to have been killed by crushing his skull with a tile. A concrete slab was seen to have been placed on the mortal remains of the man.

Police personnel attached to Pandeshwar station had began to investigate the murder.

The police sources said that others are also involved in the murder and will be apprehended soon.

The motive behind the murder is not known. But police said the deceased and the accused both were drunk. It is believed that murder was committed under the influence of alcohol.

    Our new Police Commissioner is very active. I hope he will control this by alerting all his men to vigilant in the night time to arrest these drunkers and roaming in the night. Our night patrolling should be very strict.

    Jossey S.Mumbai,it is not always frightening looks that one had be frightend.People whohave cold looks with a nice smile too can be more dangerous than this one.They say when one is killed, had drunk alcohol.

    Accidents- Ban vehicles.
    Dowry harassment- Ban marriage
