Udupi: Disciple of Palimar Swamiji ordained into Krishna Math service

Udupi, May 13: The disciple of Palimar Math who was admitted into ascetism by the Swamiji of Palimar Math on May 10 was coronated by Palimar Math head, Sri Vidyadheeshateertha Swamiji, and accepted as his heir as far as lineage of Swamijis of Palimar Math is concerned, at 12.20 pm on Sunday May 12.

The newly introduced junior Swamiji of Palimar Math, who is the 32nd Swamiji in the illustrious line of Swamijis of Palimar Math, was named 'Vidyarajeshwarateertha' by Palimar Swamiji. With this, the spiritual journey of the junior Palimar Swamiji has begun and his life henceforth would be guided by Dwaita philosophy and devotion to Lord Krishna.

Sri Vishweshateertha Swamiji of Pejawar Math, Krishnapur Math head, Sri Vidyasagarateertha, Admar Sri Vishwapriyateertha Swamiji, Pejawar junior Sri Vishwaprasannateertha Swamiji, Kaniyoor Sri Vishwavallabhateertha Swamiji, Bheemanakatte Sri Raghuvarendrteertha Swamiji, and Admar junior Sri Eshapriyateertha Swamiji, were present.

Religious procedures connected with this programme were guided by scholar, Subrahmanya Bhat Guindibail. Paryaya Math Diwan, Vedayavyas Tantry, Kamblakatta Surendra Upadhyaya etc were present.
