Mumbai: Narayanaguru mandira Santacruz celebrates silver jubilee

Mumbai, Apr 18: Billavara Association which has completed nearly 87 years as community and social organization being a guiding light for lacs of people celebrated its silver jubilee of Gurumoorthi installation at Billava Bhavan, Santacruz east on April 16.

The programme was presided over by Billavara Association Mumbai president Chandrashekar S Poojary. Tulunadu Rakshana Vedike, Mangaluru founder president Yogish Shetty Jeppu was chief guest.

Entrepreneur Ganesh Bermu Poojary, Vaman D Poojary, Shivaram C Poojary, Bharath Bank director Damodar C Kunder, Billavara Association former president Nithyananda D Kotian, association vice president Shanker D Poojary, Dayananda R Poojary, Srinivas R Karkera, honorary chief treasurer Rajesh J Bangera, ladies wing president Jayanti V Ullal, social and spiritual committee president Mohandas G Poojary, office bearers and local dignitaries were present.



Association honorary chief secretary Dhananjay Shanti Ulloor welcomed and gave an introductory address. Shekhar Shanti Ulloor and Gangadhar Kalladi, recited sahasranama of Narayanaguru, distributed Theertha prasada and blessed. Social and spiritual committee secretary Ravindra A Shanti proposed the vote of thanks.
