Udupi, Apr 17: A case has been registered against Udupi MLA Raghupati Bhat and others for using underage children to campaign for the Lok Sabha polls and thereby violating the model code of conduct.

Campaigning for BJP Udupi-Chikkamagaluru candidate Shobha Karandlaje, the MLA took out a padayatra from Kodibengre to Gujjarbettu on April 15 evening without obtaining permission from the election officials.

The MLA first organised a meet at Kodibengre and then set out on foot with children.

His act has been accounted as a violation to the model code of conduct and a case has been registered in Malpe police station over illegal gathering when poll code was in effect and also under the Child Labour (Prohibition and Regulation) Act 1986 for using underage children.

The case was registered based on the complaint filed by election flying squad official Mohanraj.

Committing crime or going against law is a habitual practice for this porn film watcher MLA. His leader and his party itself using kids in party's election advertisement, then naturally he too will follow his master. To gain votes these people will stoop to any level.
Just praying let our district freed from these communal law breakers. And may Mr. Pramod become victorious by the grace of God and with the support of Udupi District people.

It's a national shame that a party can stoop so low to use kids in its campaign. No law for these people, law can only arm twist common, helpless and taxpaying citizens.
