Mangaluru: Lourdes Central School awarded with Eco-friendly Yellow School Award

Mangaluru, Feb 22: Karnataka State Pollution Control Board had organised a survey on eco –friendly schools. Lourdes Central School participated and won the Eco Friendly Yellow School Award on Thursday, February 21.

The award ceremony was held at Nethravathi Sabha Bhavan, Dakshina Kannada zilla parishad, Kottara. Lourdes Central School emerged as the first CBSE School in Mangaluru to win the prestigious Yellow School award for the year 2018-19.



This would not have been possible without the efforts of principal Fr Robert D’Souza, vice principal Belita Mascarenhas, Eco –club teachers Harshitha Shetty and Asha Shet, the students of Eco-club and the non-teaching staff.
