Puttur: Tenth standard student hangs himself

Puttur, Feb 21: Suhas (15), son of Kumar from Perlampady in Koltige village in the taluk ended his life on Wednesday February 20. He hanged himself at his home. Suhas was a student of a private school in the town.

The student ended his life on Wednesday afternoon when no one else was at home. He made a noose and tied it to the fan inside the room before committing suicide.

The tenth standard student was going through a period of mental depression, it is learnt. A case of unnatural death in this connection was registered in Bellare police station.
