Kasargod: JCB falls into ditch - operator killed

Kasargod, Dec 12: After a JCB fell into a ditch at Ananthpur near Kumble on Tuesday, December 11, its young operator lost his life. The deceased was Manish (19), son of the late Radhakrishna and Gauri couple from Nidugala near Manya.

Manish was reversing the backhoe when it suddenly fell into a ditch that was about five feet deep. When the machine fell, Manish got crushed under ita weight and died on the spot.

Police personnel acting under the instructions of Kumble police circle inspector, Prem Sadan, and fire brigade from Kasargod jointly brought the mortal remains out and transported it to the mortuary of the general hospital here.

Manish is survived by mother and two brothers.
