Daijiworld Udupi to hold Christmas Star Making and Crib Photo contests

Daijiworld Media Network - Udupi

Udupi, Dec 5: For the first time Kishoo Enterprises, Udupi franchise of Daijiworld Media (Web, Weekly, TV and Radio), is organising dual contests for the participants as part of Christmas celebrations.

The Christmas star is a symbol of hope, which makes us feel that God is with us. The brightness of the star is associated with the light of Christ, which shines even in the darkness. It is the light, which guides and shows the right path to life.

While earlier, families used to get together to design creative stars during Christmas, this tradition is slowly disappearing, as readymade stars are easily available.

To enhance the Christmas spirit as well as give people an opportunity to showcase their talent, Kishoo Enterprises, Udupi franchise of Daijiworld Media, in association with the Lions Club International District 317C is organising 'Bhuviya Chukki' Christmas star making competition. The unique competition will be held on Sunday, December 16 at St Mary's English medium school, Kannarpady at 2 pm.

Rules:

- Participants have to prepare the Christmas star on the spot.
- Participants should get all the necessary materials to prepare the Christmas star.
- The size of the Christmas star should not be exceeding 4 feet height and 3 feet width.
- Two members can participate in a team.
- Duration to make the Christmas star is 3 hours.
- Judges decision will be final.

Arrangements will be made to display the Christmas stars at the venue.

Daijiworld Udupi is offering attractive prizes for winners. Those bagging the first, second and third prizes will get Rs 4000, Rs 3000 and Rs 2000 respectively. Consolation prizes will be given for satisfactory art-work.
