Dubai, Nov 22: Large number of Tuluvas arrived in the city to take part in Vishwa Tulu Sammelana and also to tour the place making use of the moments. Fr Ebnezer Jathanna of CSI and Richard Castelino arrived on November 22 along with many other guests.
Wanderlust Tourism successfully arranged a big number of Tuluvas from Mangaluru, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Delhi who arrived at Dubai Terminal 1. Sabitha Shetty and Shodhan Prasad arranged this ‘Official Tour’specially to support those Tuluvas who wanted to attend the Vishwa Tulu Sammelana. They will go on a Dubai tour from November 23 onwards and will also participate in the Vishwa Tulu Sammelana two-day event. Most of them are new to Dubai and are excited. They were greeted by the operators with dates and juices as a gesture of Arabic welcome. Most of them are families and of different age groups and will stay at Fortune Group of hotels in different locations.
It is learnt that some few miscreants made use of the opportunity and duped several Tuluvas in the pretext of attracting large groups for less money tours. People who went prey for these miscreants have been stranded at Mangalore International Airport. Some of them landed in Dubai not knowing where to go for their accommodation and tour. Some tried to contact Praveen Shetty of Fortune Group of Hotels and president of KNRI Dubai for help to have them accommodated in his facility.
Other guests are scheduled to arrive today and tomorrow.
