Bantwal, Nov 22: Former minister B Ramanath Rai said that new block Congress presidents Baby Kunder for Bantwal and Sudeep Kumar Shetty for Panemangaluru will take charge on November 26. “Senior party leaders will be present in the programme. Young force is being assigned to strengthen the party. Senior party leaders are supporting them,” he said.

“Indira Canteen at B C Road will be inaugurated by minister R V Deshpande on November 25 followed by distribution of 94C title deeds. Bantwal is leading in distribution of 94C title deeds,” he said.

To a question if he will contest Lok Sabha elections, he said that he will do what the high command wants.

Zilla panchayat member Chandrapakash Shetty, Padmashekar Jain, Pradesh Congress secretary Savita Ramesh, Baby Kunder, Sudeep Kumar Shetty, Mayilappa Salian, Abbas Ali, Sudarshan Jain, Prashanth Kulal, Jayanti Poojary, Mallika Shetty, Madhusoodan Shenoy and others were present.
