As expected Roshan was on top gear and proved that nobody can overtake him when he is on that gear.

While Sabitha's winning was a foregone conclusion, from the past viewings, I had predicted Avith to go to Kuwait. That was until I heard Jeevan.

But this too was short-lived until Aenson came and rendered his Maand Sobhan masterpiece. His second song wrote his name on top of the list of winners.

Yet, the night belonged to Joston Pereira. Oh, what a way he ruled the stage for more than 4 hours ! Congrats to Open High for their electrifying act.

There is a legend that the deserts in the Liwa - also known as Empty Quarter - in the UAE produce an unique mellifluous music a phenomenon which is caused by the vibrations of the grains of sand as they fall on top of each other. Hence the name Singing Sand Dunes.

I now got a gut feeling that both the ultimate champs may emerge from the tranquil singing deserts of the UAE !
