Lucknow, Sep 28: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday met people from different districts during the 'Janata Darshan' and directed officials to ensure prompt, sensitive and transparent resolution of their grievances.

During the public hearing, the Chief Minister moved among the people seated in the gathering, interacted with complainants and personally enquired about their problems. He assured them that their genuine grievances would be addressed.

An elderly man from Raebareli became emotional while narrating his plight and showed the Chief Minister injuries he had suffered. The man alleged that some people had attacked him without any provocation, claiming that the accused believed he lived abroad.

According to the complainant, the attackers had allegedly been waiting for him, assaulted him and snatched his money. After hearing him, Adityanath directed officials to take immediate action and ensure strict legal action against those responsible.

The Chief Minister said peace, prosperity and law and order were important priorities for the state and directed officials to act within the law against those found responsible for disrupting them.

Several other complainants raised issues related to alleged land grabbing and illegal occupation.

Adityanath directed officials to remove encroachments and take legal action against those found to have illegally occupied land, particularly property belonging to poor people. He said such land should be freed from illegal or forced occupation.

He also stressed the need for timely disposal of revenue-related cases and instructed officials to ensure that people do not face unnecessary delays in getting their grievances addressed.

The Chief Minister directed the officials present to deal with every complaint sensitively and ensure its timely and transparent resolution.
