Mangaluru: Srinivas Indaje prez of DK Journo Assn, Daya is VP

Mangaluru, Aug 7: Srinivas Nayak Indaje was elected as the president of Dakshina Kannada District Working Journalists' Association in the elections which were held at the district information department office on August 5.

Dayanand Kukkaje was elected as vice-president (central). Ibrahim Adkasthala is the newly elected general secretary.

Ansar Inoli and Sharath Kinnigoli were elected as vice-presidents in rural category.

Jitendra Kundeshwar is secretary (central) while Siddique Neerajea and Bhubaneswar are secretaries (rural).

R A Lohani as treasurer (central), and Jagannath Bala as representative of state committee were elected unanimously.

Harish Motukana, Pushparaj B N, Bhaskar Rai, Suresh Palli, Athmabhooshan, Hilary Crasta, Rajesh Shetty, Harish Mambady, Gangadhar Kallapalli, R C Bhat, Sathyavati, Vijay Kotyan, Lokesh Perlampady, Jeevan B S, and Rajesh K Poojary were elected as executive members.

Khader Shah, senior assistant director, district Information department was the presiding officer.
