Kuwait: KWAK organises Christmas tree programme

Kuwait, Dec 19: Kanajar Welfare Association Kuwait (KWAK) celebrated its Christmas tree programme on December 15 at Artistic Yoga Hall, Salmiya, Kuwait at 7.00 pm.

President Steve Rodrigues whole heartedly welcomed all the KWAK members as well as the guests. Prayer was led by KWAK treasurer Pramila D’Souza and vice-president Charlotte D’Souza.

A Christmas cake was cut by all the committee members celebrating the joy of the Savior’s birthday.



Melodious carol singing and Christmas tableau was presented by KWAK family members, spreading Christmas message which was well coordinated by Leena Fernandes and team. Children were excited as the Santa made his entry. Goodies were distributed to the kids.

Kanajar Kid Master Ethen Britto entertained the audience with his dance performance. The duo of Lional Mascarenhas and Satish Saldanha sailed the gathering into the world of laughter with their skits. Games for kids were conducted by Leena Fernandes and team. Spot prizes were also awarded during the event. Housie housie game was the part of the programme and was conducted by Rishawn D’Souza and Steve Rodrigues.

KWAK founder Lawrence Saldanha addressed the gathering. He showed his happiness as KWAK is moving towards greater heights. He also appreciated each and everyone one who is working hard towards the success of each KWAK event.

KWAK secretary Renita Flavy Barboza proposed the vote of thanks and KWAK kids recited the grace before meals. Delicious dinner was served by M&M restaurant.

Photography of the event was done by Rishawn D’souza. Daya provided the sound system. The event was well compered by Walter Fernandes who also entertained the audience with his jokes and melodious songs. The event was coordinated by PRO Antony Miranda and well supported by management committee members.
