First Indian casino game training course centre in Goa

Panaji, Nov 24 (IANS): Delta Corp Limited on Friday claimed to have set up the first casino game training courses in India.

The casino game training courses were set up in 2013 as a part of the company's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) here.

"We had the courses set up since 2013, earlier we did not have a fixed rule to who can apply for it," Anil Malani, President Delta Corp Ltd., told IANS here.

"But now only those who have passed their HSC exams and have some skills in math can apply.

"We have a designated batch of 20 courses and this is absolutely free for the society, zero strings attached," Malani added.

He also claimed that after passing the course, most of the students get recruited in premier hotels like Hyatt or Taj.

Interestingly, the state government-recognised courses are either in diploma; which runs through a year or certified -- that ends in six months.
