Mangaluru: Lourdes Central School paves way for scientific mindset

Mangaluru, Jan 24: An EVS project was conducted for classes 1 and 2 of Lourdes Central School. Social and science projects were conducted for classes 3-5 from 11.30 am to 1.30 pm. The school also witnessed a soft-toy exhibition commemorating Pet Day on Saturday, January 21.

Students were excited and enjoyed doing their models. Various topics related to the subjects were given in advance. Students brought the materials to the classroom and did their work creatively. Classrooms were well arranged. Father Principal along with the co-ordinator visited the classes and appreciated the models prepared by the students.

Same models were displayed in their respective classrooms and other class children viewed them. EVS, social and science project exhibitions went on smoothly and systematically. It enhanced the knowledge of the little Lourdites paving way for their scientific temperament. The parents' cooperation for co-operating and sending the materials at the right time were appreciated. The teachers and students thanked the principal Fr Robert D’Souza for his guidance and support.

Pet Day celebrated

The soft toys pets exhibition of the Kindergarten section of Lourdes Central School was held on the occasion of 'Pets Day'. The students brought their soft toys to display and participated enthusiastically. The children learnt about various pets, their habits, cries and young ones.

Principal Fr Robert D’Souza visited the exhibition and interacted with the children. Children went around other classes to see the exhibition.
