Mangalore, Dec 1: Gangster Bejai Raja alias Shailesh, resident of Bejai, was murdered by a gang of three persons near West Gate building, Falnir road here on Saturday December 1 night.

Bejai Raja was accused and in the murder of another criminal, Panduranga Pai alias Pandu Pai, that took place in May 2009. He and his accomplices had been arrested in the case, and were acquitted in September 2010 for want of evidence.

On Saturday at around 9.45 pm, Bejai Raja came near West Gate building in a car and got down to make a phone call from a PCO.

Just then a gang of three arrived and attacked him with swords. They threw the swords on the roadside and fled from the spot.

Locals gathered immediately and rushed a critically injured Raja to the nearby Unity Hospital. He breathed his last soon after.

It is said that internal rivalry may have led to the murder.

The body was later shifted to Wenlock hospital.

Kadri police are investigating.

Those who take up the sword will perish by the sword.

Those who rob will be caught one day or the other.

Those who make smuggling will be caught one day or the other.

If the Father and Mother are not showing good ways/righteous ways to their children do not expect good deeds from your children.

Prayers from father and mother through the core of their hearts is very imperative. Only prayers will not do wonders father and mother should lead righteous ways surely children will survive and God will bring them to righteous ways falling from astray.

Who hacked Bejai Raja ? Another Gang. Not Police. One gangster is killed & three gangsters existed ! All are fed & used by dirty Politicians. Once their job is done, they are wiped out without a clue. Our Mangalore was not like this before BJP's rule in Karnataka.

Mangalore still is beautiful and a good place to start life , nothin is wrong with mangalore or people living in mangalore . Its up to our decision what we take which leads us there . Good people in mangalore are still living a fearless life in peace , lifez hard in this costly world but people still live . person whose dead took wrong decision , found a wrong ending thats all . to show mangalore a fastest growing city we dont need criminal activities .,., As schools , college , hospitals , refinary ,petro-chemical plant, ports and so on .... crimes a part of life . . . shit happens in life . we just have to live on .

SAD TO HEAR THESE KIND OF INCIDENTS. I HAVE HEARD FROM MANY PEOPLE SAYING, "JAISI KARNI WAISI BURNI". I DO NOT JUSTIFY THAT THIS INCIDENT IS RIGHT. NO ONE HAS THE RIGHT TO KILL ANOTHER PERSON. BUT ONE WHO CLINGS TO THE SWORD, WILL DIMINISH BY THE SWORD. THIS APPLIES TO ALL THOSE WHO LIVE IN THIS MANNER, BECAUSE ALTHOUGH THEY DO WRONG TO OTHERS, STILL THEY THINK, THEY HAVE ENOUGH SECUIRTY PERSONNEL AT THEIR DISPOSAL TO GUARD THEM,STILL THE SWORD WHICH ALWAYS HANGS OVER THEM CAN FALL AT ANY MOMENT. BUT ALAS! THIS, IF AT ALL THEY WOULD REALISE BEFORE ITS TOO LATE!!!!!!!

Dogs that keep on barking, chasing vehicles, biting innocents are sooner or later killed by the municipality for the safety of the people..unfortunately this thing doesnt happen to the criminals in India..
Even if the entire country knows but still the murderers roam around cos there is no evidence...what a great law system we have..I was much releived to get this news yesterday n8 through a phone call cos the way this fellow had murdered Pandu pai who had left everything and was leading a normal life was pathetic...but as we all know God has bigger plans 4 us,he is the biggest judge and in his court the justice is immediate..so no regrets at all..gud 4 him,gud 4 us

it always happens with these gangsters, they get acquitted of any crime in a jiffy.
When police and the judiciary are in hand in glove with these gangsters, who pay them handsomely, there cannot be any punishment to these gangsters\rowdies. The cases are not at all looked into by the police and the judicial decision on the cases will be "insufficient evidence"

This is the only way these gangsters\rowdies etc die - their own kind killing each other

This incident and such criminal activities in and around Mangalore City shows MANGALORE,fastest growing city in Karnataka not far bind in terms of criminal activities when we are talking about Bangalore or Mumbai.BEJAI RAJA GOT DOWN FROM CAR TO MAKE A PHONE CALL IN PCO might be extortion or threat call? Mangalore becoming increasingly danger city and police vigil round the clock with required gadgets and logistics need of the hour.
