Mangaluru: Blood Donation Camp held at St Agnes College

Mangaluru, May 23: The Youth Red Cross, AIDS Awareness Education Cell and the NSS Units of St Agnes College (Autonomous), Mangaluru organized a one-day Blood Donation Camp on Monday, May 23 from 9 AM to 3 PM in the A4, Avila Block in collaboration with Fr Muller Medical College, Mangaluru. Principal Sr Dr M Venissa A.C. was the inaugurator and Sr M Carmel Rita A C, administrator of the College was the chief guest.

Dr Charu Khosla, Department of IHBT, Fr Muller Medical College explained the importance of Blood Donation. Students from other colleges, parents and well-wishers attended this programme and donated blood. Around 82 pints of blood collected.

Co-ordinator of Youth Red Cross Prajwal Rao, programme officers of the NSS units of the college, Vidya Patali and Vineetha N T were also present on the dais.

Renisha, student of Youth Red Cross compered the programme. Rochelle welcomed the gathering. Rishika, NSS Volunteer proposed a vote of thanks.

NSS secretaries, Shrusti and Nikitha, YRC secretary Vimarsha were also present during the program. The volunteers of NSS and YRC rendered their service during the camp.
