Dubai, Mar 31: Former President of India, A P J Abdul Kalam during his UAE visit on Monday March 30, 2009, mingled freely with the people and inspired Indians as well as other residents of UAE through his trademark charming smile and friendly manners with the people here.

The official launch of JSS International School in Al Barsha South, Dubai was one of the main reasons for his visit to Dubai. He inaugurated the institution and dedicated it to the students at the school campus on Mar 30, 2009, in the evening hours.

Speaking after the inauguration, Kalam said, creating an ideal education model is the need of the hour, as education empowers people with capacity for creativity, capacity to use high-tech, capacity to build entrepreneurial leadership, capacity to moral leadership and to improve the quality of teaching. He hailed JSS Educational Trust, which produces thousands of graduates every year and shapes their future.

Head of the JSS Trust and head of Adi Chunchanagiri Math, Mandya Jagadguru Sri Sri Sri Bala Gangadhar Swamiji was the guest of honour for the day along with six other Swamijis, who had traveled all the way from Karnataka to grace this occasion.

Speaking to daijiworld.com, Jagadguru said, "The JSS Mahavidyapeetha is a socio-cultural institution that has dedicated itself to the development of culture, literature and education for the prosperity of the humanity. It has pioneered the concept of education as a tool for evolving social change. Education for all is the central theme and message of this Trust. From a humble beginning less than six decades ago, the Trust has grown into a social force that transcends boundaries and cultures."

"The Trust has established more than 300 institutions spread across India with overseas centres in USA, Mauritius and Dubai. In the field of school and collegiate education, medical and para-medical science, engineering, pharmacy, law, management education, Sahana Schools for the mentally and physically disabled children, school for the blind and the institute of speech and hearing, vocational training centres for the youth, professional training institutions etc., are being run by the Trust" he explained.

UAE's minister of education Dr Hanif Hassan Ali was the chief guest of the event. He extended UAE's wholehearted co-operation to Indian educational institutions in UAE and hailed Indian education system.

Venu Rajamony, consul general of India, Dubai, Lt Gen Musabbej Rashid Al Fattan, chairman Al Fattan Properties, maj gen Nasser Abdulrazk Al Razooqi, chairman of Al Razoqi group, were the other dignitaries on the dias.

Citi FM's popular RJ Krithika compered the event.

Dear Alex..appreciate your comments and indeed that speaks about your respect to APJ and disrespect to the politicians of current era. My point is , we need to openly see the view point of Rajesh here. His remarks are not to degrade APJ but to uplift the current dirty politics in india. We all agree that the system needs to be changed , but how? If good souls like APJ comes into the main stream then only. With the power of the ministry and support of citizens like us, there can be a change. But if we restrict our mind and say Politics is dirty, and keep quiet, then nothing is going to change.

One thing enthralled me to see the photographs of Safron rob clad swamiji's sitting on the dias with our renouned gentleman scientist Former President APJ Abdul Kalam, and UAE's Arab Muslim Dignitaries. That means all safron clad swami's are not communal. Hats off to Adi Chunchana Giri Swamiji's.They not only preach but practice by educating people in India and Abroad.

We need Hindu stalwarts like Mandya Jagadguru Sri Bala Gangadhar Swamiji. He is highly learned Hindu guru and values the religion of their co-human being. That is why, a Muslim country like UAE has welcoming him with open heart. A true Hindu or Muslim will neither practice nor teach hatred of another religion. Only the 8% Aryans, who had invaded India, was quietly dominating 89% of Hindus & ruling them for centuries. Like Hitler, they wanted to form a pure Aryan race & wanted to rule India in the name of Hindutva which teaches hatred & spew venom to attack the believer of other religion as well as their own brethren whom they had braded as low class.

Dear Rajesh Shetty, with due respect to you, please  don't degrade Dr Abdul Kalam by asking him to become education minister. Politicians did not know how to respect him when he was the President of India. He is one of the greatest souls on this earth and the politicians of our country are not even fit to untie his shoe laces.
