Panaji, Apr 15: BIG 92.7 FM, India’s biggest private FM network with 14 operating stations, is all set for its Goa Station launch soon.

The launch of BIG FM in Goa marks the entry of the first private FM Station in the state, offering a new form of entertainment to the shores of Goa. As it gears up for its launch, the Station has tied up with the Goa Fest 2007 as official radio partners, for the event to held over April 20th and 21st.

Being the associate partners, BIG 92.7 FM has lined up an array of exclusive features for the audience during the festival. Some of the most popular RJs of BIG 92.7 FM from across the country including RJ Archana Jani (Mumbai), RJ Adonica (Hyderabad), RJ Ayushman (Delhi) etc., will be interacting with all the advertising gurus present and reporting on the fun and happenings at the venue. The Station is also setting up a BIG Booth; a place where the guests can interact with the RJ’s and provide music and masti more to entertain the crowd. All this and much more will be heard exclusively on BIG 92.7 FM.

To pump up the excitement, the biggest draw of the fest is the BIG Rain Dance on April 21st at Cavelossim beach, AdVillage, with DJ Shiva ensuring that everyone is grooving to the best music in town. The excitement doesn’t end here, as participants can win some of the most interesting prizes throughout the festival which will include Holiday Packages, interesting souvenirs etc.

BIG 92.7 FM, has established itself as India’s biggest private FM network in just a few months since its first launch in September last year. Since then, the Company has seen the swiftest set up of Radio Stations, with the total number standing at 14 as of today. As they gear up to launch in Goa, the Fest poses an excellent opportunity for the Station to meet with the industry decision makers.

In a recent survey conducted by Indica Research Consumer Insights Pvt. Ltd., Bangalore & Hyderabad were adjudged No. 1 Station whereas Mumbai and Kolkata stations have been adjudged as No. 2 respectively, as per the study on various criteria during the period of February – March 2007. Apart from the cities surveyed, BIG 92.7 FM enjoys leadership in all other stations where the station has brought in the new wave of private FM and bringing difference to the lives of listeners in every possible way.

In a similar effort, the station also proved instrumental in giving a new life to Raja, an HIV positive patient.
