Manish Goel becomes Bigg Boss 20’s first wildcard contestant, second entry on Oct 11

Mumbai, Oct 11: Television actor Manish Goel, who initially entered Bigg Boss 20 as a guest to promote a show, has become the season’s first wildcard contestant, surprising and exciting the housemates.

Host Salman Khan announced Goel’s wildcard entry during the episode. At the end of the show, he also revealed that a second wildcard contestant would enter the house on October 11, 2026. However, the identity of the new entrant has not yet been disclosed.

Goel has been part of the Indian television industry for more than two decades. He is known for his roles in popular Hindi serials such as Bhabhi, Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii and Kasautii Zindagii Kay. His other television projects include Devi, Bhagyalakshmi, Ayushman Bhava, Tantra and Hamari Wali Good News. He also played Raghav Singh in Anupamaa.

Apart from television, Goel has worked in films, including Hum Phir Milen Na Milen, for which he also contributed as a writer, and Hanak.

Goel has also participated in several reality shows. He competed in the first season of Nach Baliye with his wife, Poonam Narula, and the couple finished as runners-up. He later appeared in Zara Nachke Dikha, Say Shava Shava and Ustaadon Ka Ustaad. In 2013, he won the celebrity cooking reality show Welcome Baazi Mehmaan Nawaazi Ki. He also hosted Big Memsaab.

His entry into Bigg Boss 20 marks another chapter in his television career, with viewers now waiting to see how his journey in the house unfolds.

Bigg Boss 20 streams daily on JioHotstar at 9 pm IST, while the television telecast on Colors TV begins at 10.30 pm IST.
