Mangaluru, Sep 4: The Institute of Port, Shipping and Logistics Management (IPSLM), Srinivas University, organised an exciting carrom competition for students on August 20 as part of the sports activities conducted by the Sports Forum.
A total of 14 teams enthusiastically participated in the competition. The event provided students with an excellent opportunity to demonstrate their skill, concentration, teamwork, patience, and competitive spirit. The matches were conducted in a friendly and energetic atmosphere, encouraging active participation and healthy competition among the students.







The competition was organised under the guidance and support of Dr Venkatesh S Amin, dean, IPSLM, and Prof Souparnika, HoD, IPSLM. The event was coordinated by the sports forum coordinators, Prof Lalan Kumar and Prof Lestan D’souza, with the cooperation and support of the faculty members.
The competition not only provided students with an enjoyable sporting experience but also helped promote teamwork, discipline, sportsmanship, confidence, and healthy competition among the participants.
The carrom competition was successfully conducted and proved to be an engaging and enriching extracurricular activity, adding enthusiasm and vibrancy to campus life.
