Mangaluru, Aug 29: ‘Sugandhi Pearl’, a new residential and commercial apartment complex, was inaugurated at Kodikal, Mangaluru, on Saturday, August 29.
The inauguration marked the completion of a project envisioned as a comfortable and modern living space for families. The project was developed by Pearl Properties, with the event attended by partners, well-wishers, workers and others associated with its construction.
















































Speaking on the occasion, Dr Rithu explained the significance behind the name ‘Sugandhi Pearl’. She said that ‘Sugandhi’ was chosen in honour of the mother of the landlord’s family, whose memory, love and blessings continue to remain associated with the property. She described the building as a symbol of quality, strength, comfort and lasting value.
She also acknowledged the collective efforts behind the project, stating that the journey from the initial blueprint to the completed building was made possible through the dedication and cooperation of several people.
The partners of Pearl Properties, including Baba Alankar, Prashanthi Baba Alankar, Lancy and Dr Molly D’Souza, were acknowledged for their commitment and leadership in bringing the project to completion.
As part of the programme, workers and professionals who contributed to the project were felicitated with plants as a token of appreciation. The recognition included building contractors, painters, plumbers, electricians, architects, interior designers, planning and design teams, construction workers and other personnel whose efforts contributed to the completion of Sugandhi Pearl. The organisers expressed gratitude for their hard work and dedication throughout the project.
Sugandhi Pearl comprises a basement, ground floor and four upper floors, with a 10-passenger automatic elevator supported by a standby generator. The building also features a spacious lounge, generator backup, reticulated gas connections, CCTV surveillance and a ground-floor security room.
The common areas and staircase feature granite flooring, while the apartments are equipped with 800x800 vitrified floor tiles, modular electrical switches and attractive wooden main entrance doors.
The apartments have been designed with RCC structures, laterite stone external walls and solid block internal masonry. Other facilities include aluminium windows with grills, overhead and underground water tanks, round-the-clock water supply arrangements, exterior-grade painting and provisions for modern electrical and plumbing requirements.
The apartments include provisions for air conditioning, television, telephone and computer connections in the bedrooms. Kitchens feature black granite platforms with stainless steel sinks, adequate power points, and provisions for water purifiers and exhaust fans.
Bathrooms are equipped with waterproofing, pressure-checked plumbing, quality CP fittings, hot and cold mixer units, wall-mounted EWC units, anti-skid flooring, glazed tiles, exhaust provisions and geyser provisions.
The project offers apartments in different configurations and sizes, including 3BHK, 2BHK and 1BHK units, ranging from 660 sq ft to 1,750 sq ft.
The inauguration programme was attended by families associated with the project, including Vijay Raj Kotian and family, Dr Sharath Raj and family, Giriraj Kotian and family, Baba Alankar and family, and Lancy D’Souza and family.
