Mangaluru: 32-year-old youth killed in bike-car collision at Mulki

Mangaluru, Aug 9: A 32-year-old youth lost his life after succumbing to severe injuries he sustained in a tragic road accident involving a bike and a speeding car in Mulki.

The deceased has been identified as Akshith, a resident of Karnad.

According to the details of the incident, the accident occurred on the night of June 28 when Akshith and another youth were travelling on a two-wheeler from Karnad towards Mulki. A speeding car, heading in the opposite direction towards Moodbidri, collided with their bike.

The severe impact of the crash left both riders with critical injuries, and they were immediately rushed to a hospital for emergency medical care. Despite prolonged medical treatment, Akshith breathed his last on Friday after failing to respond to the treatment.

The other youth injured in the accident, identified as Manish, has reportedly recovered from his injuries.
