Esha wins ISSF World Cup gold, Manu claims bronze

Hangzhou, Jul 27: India's Esha Singh clinched the gold medal in the women's 25 metre pistol event at the ISSF World Cup (Rifle/Pistol/Shotgun) in Hangzhou, China, on Monday, while Olympic medallist Manu Bhaker secured the bronze to complete a double podium finish for the country.

The 21-year-old Esha delivered a dominant performance in the final, registering 40 hits to comfortably win the gold medal.

Paris 2024 double Olympic medallist Manu Bhaker battled through a highly competitive final and survived a crucial shoot-off before finishing with 28 hits to claim the bronze medal.

The twin podium finish added another success to India's shooting campaign at the ISSF World Cup, highlighting the country's continued strength in pistol events on the international stage.
