Mangaluru, Jul 1: Dashiel Concessao, daughter of Francis and Doris Concessao of Mangaluru, brought laurels to Karnataka by winning one gold medal and three silver medals in the senior category at the 21st National Ice Skating Championship 2026 held in Dehradun.
Representing Karnataka, Dashiel delivered an impressive performance at the championship, which was held from June 25 to June 30 and organised by the Ice Skating Association of India.
She clinched the gold medal in the Mixed Relay event and secured silver medals in the 500 metres, 1,000 metres, and 1,500 metres events.
Dashiel is currently pursuing her studies at SDM College of Business Management. Her outstanding achievement at the national championship has brought pride to her family, institution, and the state of Karnataka.
