Mangaluru, Jun 23: World Music Day at Carmel School resonated with beautiful songs, instrumental performances, and a renewed appreciation for the power of music.

The programme commenced with a prayer, followed by the thought for the day. The school vocal singing troupe and instrument learners showcased their talents through individual and group performances. Students presented melodious songs and impressive instrumental renditions, creating a vibrant musical atmosphere.

A student highlighted the significance of Music Day and explained the importance of music in our lives.

The principal, Sr Pramila D'Souza AC, addressed the gathering and encouraged students to actively participate in singing and instrumental learning. She emphasized that music plays a vital role in the overall development of children by enhancing creativity, confidence, discipline, and emotional well-being.

The programme concluded with the national anthem, leaving the audience inspired and motivated to explore their musical talents.
