Mangaluru, Jun 20: The Institute of Aviation Studies, Srinivas University, organised a mehendi contest on June 17 with the aim of encouraging creativity and traditional artistry among students.
The event saw enthusiastic participation from 130 teams, from BBA Aviation Management, Aviation & Logistics Management and MBA Aviation Management. The contest was successfully conducted under the guidance of Dr Pavithra Kumari, dean, Institute of Aviation Studies, SWO, HODs, cultural coordinators, faculty members, student coordinators, volunteers, and staff members of the Institute of Aviation Studies.
There were three teams in the competition, and the winners were selected based on creativity, neatness, and overall presentation of their mehendi designs.
From team 1, the first prize was won by Harshitha and Amina Ruba from II-year BBA Aviation and Logistics Management. The second prize was awarded to Deeksha Puthran and Shanvi N Amin from II-year BBA Aviation Management for their impressive mehendi presentation.







From team 2, the first prize was secured by Shivani and Lakshitha S K from III-year BBA Aviation Management. The second prize was awarded to Fathima Nuha and Deekshitha S from BBA Aviation Management for their creative mehendi work.
From team 3, the first prize was awarded to Fathimathul Fidha V and Haifa Mariyam from II Year BBA Aviation and Logistics Management. The second prize was secured by Samna and Reneshia Dcosta from II-year BBA Aviation and Logistics Management for their attractive and artistic mehendi designs.
In the PG category, the first prize was awarded to Ashwini I MBA Aviation Management and Karishma Mohan II year BBA Aviation Management for their excellent mehendi design and creative presentation. The second prize was secured by Ayshath Naziya Nasreen and Bhavishya M K from I year MBA Aviation Management for their beautiful and artistic mehendi work.
The Institute has congratulated all the winners and extended its appreciation to all participants and supporters who contributed to making the event a grand success.
