Udupi, Jun 20: St Cecily’s English Medium Higher Primary School (CBSE) held its investiture ceremony, clubs inaugural on June 18 in the school auditorium, marking the formal induction of the student council for the academic year 2026–27 and the inauguration of various student clubs.
The programme commenced with the regal school brass band leading the dignitaries into the auditorium. The distinguished guests included the chief guest, Revon Dias, a dynamic and multi-talented alumnus of the school, well-known among the youth of Udupi diocese for his talents in music and public speaking.































The solemn invocatory prayer sought rich blessings upon the Student Council 2026-27. A mesmerising welcome dance by students of grade 3 followed by gracious words of welcome by Ancila of grade 8, made the dignitaries and the audience warmly received.
The ceremonial lamp was then lit by the chief guest, principal, administrator and the newly installed head boy, Shaurya Chandra and head girl, Dheemahi B Poojary. The members of the school cabinet were formally invested with their sashes and badges of office after which the principal administered the solemn oath of commitment and service.
Revon also inaugurated the school clubs which serve as vibrant platforms nurturing creativity and experiential learning.
In his inspiring message, Revon congratulated the head boy, head girl along with the cabinet members and encouraged the student-audience to grow with resilience, determination and commitment, glow through success earned from hard work and go forth into society to serve and spread the fragrance of love, compassion and harmony by coming out of their comfort zones and serving others selflessly.
The programmw concluded with heartfelt words of gratitude and assurance of dedicated commitment rendered by the head boy, Shaurya Chandra followed by the melodious rendition of the National Anthem.
