Mangaluru, Jun 6: The IAHS student development and support committee, in collaboration with the department of forensic science and digital forensic, Srinivas University, Mukka, organised an Alumni Talk on June 3 at the university's Demo Room. The programme aimed to provide students with valuable insights into emerging career opportunities, industry trends, and entrepreneurial prospects in the fields of cyber security, forensic science, and digital forensics.
The session commenced with a welcome address by Dr Swathi D, course coordinator, who welcomed the resource person and participants while outlining the objectives of the programme. Around 30 students from the Department of Forensic Science and Digital Forensic actively participated in the event.



The resource person, Venkatesh R, founder of Vethnix Academy, delivered an insightful and engaging session on the future scope of cyber security, digital forensics, and forensic science. He highlighted the growing demand for skilled professionals in these sectors and discussed emerging career opportunities, industry expectations, essential technical skills, professional certifications, and career advancement prospects.
Drawing from his professional experience and entrepreneurial journey, Venkatesh encouraged students to explore innovative career paths and embrace continuous learning. He also shed light on startup opportunities in cyber security and forensic technology, providing valuable insights into innovation, business development, and entrepreneurship in these rapidly evolving domains.
The programme featured an interactive discussion and question-and-answer session, enabling students to seek clarification on career-related queries and gain practical knowledge from the speaker's real-world experiences. The interaction helped participants better understand current industry trends, technological advancements, and the challenges and opportunities present in the cyber security and forensic science sectors.
