The programme was organized by the MCON Red Cross unit and Anti-Drug Wing to raise awareness about the harmful effects of tobacco and nicotine addiction and to promote a healthier, tobacco-free society.

The programme commenced with an awareness rally, which was formally flagged off by Fr Ivan Michel Rodrigues, correspondent, Milagres College of Nursing, in the presence of Dr Diana Lobo, principal, Fr Avith Pais, assistant parish priest, and Jyothi Cutinha, vice principal.

Addressing the gathering, Fr Ivan Michel Rodrigues emphasized the importance of avoiding tobacco and nicotine products, highlighting their harmful effects on health, family life, and society.
